is a Home game against Glenhest on Sunday the 16th. June at 1p.m. at Station Rise Stadium. Glenhest are joint league leaders at the moment and an old foe that we welcome back to Station Rise having had many a competitive match against them over the years. We need all the support we can get and look forward to a good match on Sunday.

It was a scorching evening to play a football game and what a game it was. Achill Rovers are a very good side as their position in the League illustrates, they are number one, so to beat them was a very good result and keeps us in contention for the league. Having had three points deducted we have begun a long hard fight back but if any club is up for it we are. Well done to the team and to Brian and Jonny as well.

Tonra Cup ---Round 2
Iorras Aontaithe 'B' 1 v 2 Ballyhaunis Town F.C. This was a very good win against a good side. A perfect evening in a beautiful location. We could and should have scored more but a win is a win and thank you to Iorras Aontaithe 'B' for such a friendly welcome.
Ballyhaunis Town FC are playing at home in a local derby against Kiltimagh/Knock Utd on Sunday 2nd June @ 2.30pm. All support would be greatly appreciated in yet another local derby taking place @ Station Rise.
Connaught Gold Cup 2013 1st Round Results
After a strongly fought 90mins, the score against Urlaur Utd was 0-0. It went into extra time where the score remained 0-0. After pentalites the score was then Ballyhaunis Town FC 4 - 1 Urlaur Utd. Thank you to everyone who came and supported and cheered on the team.

Connaught Gold Cup 2013
The first round of the Connaught Gold Cup takes place on 25th and 26th May. Ballyhaunis Town F.C will be playing against Urlaur Utd on Sunday 26th May @2.30pm at Station Rise. We could not ask for a better challenge than having a local derby for the first round. All support would be greatly appreciated for what should be an interesting match.

Ballyhaunis Town F.C are not playing this weekend, as there are nine teams in the Division cup and we were not drawn. We will be playing again on the weekend of the 18th May.
The Londis Bag Pack Update
The Bag Pack which took place on the 4th May was a success. We would like to thank the people of Ballyhaunis for their kind generosity and the volunteers for their help on the day. Ballyhaunis Town Football Club are going to use the money on the upkeep of the ground and towards the expanison of the club.

Away Match 27th April 2013 (results)
Ballyhaunis Town F.C played away to Mulranny Utd and won 4-1. The goal scorers were Aiden Paul, Miro, Peter and Michael K. This is looking like a promising start to the season with our second win.

The new season kicks off this Sunday, the 21st of April, against Conn Rangers ‘B’ at 2.30pm. This game will be held in Station Rise and all support will be very much appreciated. We hope the hard work in pre-season pays off with a winning start to the 2013 season, as our push for silverware begins.
Ballyhaunis Town FC have appointed Tommy Paige as the new team manager. Tommy, from Ballinlough, Co. Roscommon, has had great success with local underage teams of the past including the Roscommon County Youth Team. Most recently, Tommy has been manager of Lough Harps FC leading them to a high finish in their respective league in Roscommon in the 2012/2013 season. We would like to wish Tommy and the team all the best in the coming season, and hope that we can gain promotion into the Premier League.

Epic have agreed to be the club sponsor for the next three years which shows great commitment and loyalty to Ballyhaunis FC. Ballyhaunis Town FC was founded in 2010 and have their ground and changing rooms in the newly developed pitch at Station Rise.
In their first year 2010 the team were the winners of Welcome Inn Division 3 and also won the McHale Agri Stores Cup.

The 2011 season saw us promoted to League 2 where we finished 2nd. Other achievements this year were the promotion to League 1, reaching the final of the McDonnell Cup and also reaching the last 8 in the Connacht Gold Cup, a competition that involves all soccer teams in Mayo.
The senior team takes a much earned rest for the winter with training to start again in the spring. Next summer we hope to enter some underage teams and information on this will be available over the coming months.
